Fleetguard fuel filter FS20050 FS20050
Impurities that are in the fuel are filtered out with a fuel filter. These impurities are for example small particles that do not belong in the fuel and water. Without the filter these contaminants can reach the engine unopposed. Replace the fuel filter regularly with the fuel filter FS20050 of Fleetguard. Replacing the Fleetguard fuel filter
The fuel starts pumping through the system, including the fuel filter, from the moment the engine is started. The fuel filter is specifically designed by Fleetguard to filter out the water and particles from the fuel. These water and pieces will slowly clog the filter. When the filter is used for a longer time it is a good measure to replace it for a brand new Fleetguard Filter. Check the parts manual for the place of the fuel filter on the machine. Normally this will be mounted on a convenient place between the engine and the fuel tank. The fuel filter is recognized by its inlet for the fuel hose and the outlet where the filtered fuel runs through. When mounting the part, check if the fuel filter is properly connected to the system.
