Fleetguard fuel filter FS19580 FS19580

Replacing the Fleetguard fuel filter
From the moment the engine is started, the fuel runs through the hoses and the fuel filter to the engine. The Fleetguard fuel filter is developed to catch water and particles within its casing with special filtering techniques. After a while, the filter will be full of water and particles and this can impact the performance of the engine because the fuel cannot pass through the filter properly. Before the filter is fully clogged it is important to replace it for a new one. Check the parts manual for the place of the fuel filter on the machine. This will be somewhere between the fuel tank and the engine. The fuel enters the fuel filter through a specific inlet and the filtered fuel will exit through an outlet. Check the connection when replacing the fuel filter.
