the attaching of tiller blade
A rotary tiller has blades that are alternately attached. Half of the blades turns left and half turns right. Check the cuttins surfaces of the blades, these should all be the right way up. When replacing the blades for your Fahr machinery check if the blade turns left or right.
The difference between C shaped and L shaped tiller blades
Check the shape of your Fahr tiller blades, these determine how much force is needed to power them. There are C shaped tiller blades that have a gradual bend and L shaped blades that have a sharp band. If you need to perform at a deep tiller dept C shaped blades are mostly used.
An L shaped Fahr tiller blade has a sharper angle. This means that the blade needs more power to process the soil. At shallow depts of less than 5 centimetres the L shaped blade is often used. A clear advantage of the blade is that it prevents soil compacting.
Fahr tiller blade sizes
Finding the Fahr tiller blades for your machinery is easily done with our smart filters. Besides the left or right turning of the blade it is important to check if the distance between the connection holes and the width of the blade is exactly the same as your current tiller blades. The length that you need depends on the tilling dept.
