Fleetguard oil filter LF3996
Moving parts in the machine are lubricated with oil. Small particles that form during combustion and operation are dissolved in the black solution so everything operates smoothly. Fleetguard has the oil filter LF3996 that takes these contaminating particles from the oil. The parts manual states if the Fleetguard oil filter with number LF3996 fits on the machine.
Replace the Fleetguard oil filter
The use of the machine will pump the oil through the oil filter to get rid of the contaminants. After many hours of work, the oil filter will slowly start to get clogged signalling it is time for a new oil filter from Fleetguard. It is then time to replace the oil filter for a new Fleetguard filter. We advise a rubber strap, chain or wrench to make it easier to dismount the oil filter. When replacing the oil filter, also remove the old oil and fill the system with clean oil, so the filter does not fill up with sludge.
