Fleetguard oil filter LF3591
The moving parts of the machine do not work without oil. Small particles that form during combustion and operation are dissolved in the black solution so everything operates smoothly. Fleetguard has the oil filter LF3591 that takes these contaminating particles from the oil. Check the parts manual if the filter with part number LF3591 fits for the machine.
Replace the Fleetguard oil filter
The use of the machine will pump the oil through the oil filter to get rid of the contaminants. After many hours of work, the oil filter will slowly start to get clogged signalling it is time for a new oil filter from Fleetguard. The oil filter is often in a place that is not accessible very conveniently when compared to an air filter. We advise a rubber strap, chain or wrench to make it easier to dismount the oil filter. While you are busy replacing the oil filter, remember to replace the old oil so you start out with a clean system.
