Oil makes the machine run smoothly. Small particles that form during combustion and operation are dissolved in the black solution so everything operates smoothly. The oil is cleansed from the particles by an oil filter. The parts manual states if the Fleetguard oil filter with number LF3462 fits on the machine. p>
Replace the Fleetguard oil filter
The use of the machine will pump the oil through the oil filter to get rid of the contaminants. The filter paper will slowly start to get clogged with impurities. The oil filter is often in a place that is not accessible very conveniently when compared to an air filter. We advise a rubber strap, chain or wrench to make it easier to dismount the oil filter. While you are busy replacing the oil filter, remember to replace the old oil so you start out with a clean system.
