Fleetguard fuel filter FS1253
Impurities that are in the fuel are filtered out with a fuel filter. These are particles that should not be in the fuel, like water and dirt. Without the fuel filter these particles could cause damage and irregularities in the engine to the point where the engine malfunctions. Replace the fuel filter regularly with the fuel filter FS1253 of Fleetguard. Replacing the Fleetguard fuel filter
The fuel runs through the fuel hose to the combustion chamber of the engine. The fuel filter is specifically designed by Fleetguard to filter out the water and particles from the fuel. After a while, the filter will be full of water and particles and this can impact the performance of the engine because the fuel cannot pass through the filter properly. When the filter is used for a longer time it is a good measure to replace it for a brand new Fleetguard Filter. The parts manual prescribes where the fuel filter is mounted on the machine. This will be somewhere between the fuel tank and the engine. The fuel enters the fuel filter through a specific inlet and the filtered fuel will exit through an outlet. Make sure you connect the fuel filter in the right way.
