Fleetguard fuel filter FS1084
Particles that should not be in the fuel are filtered out of the solution with a fuel filter. These impurities are for example small particles that do not belong in the fuel and water. Without the filter these contaminants can reach the engine unopposed. Replace the fuel filter when the guidelines for the fuel filter FS1084of Fleetguard prescribe a replacement should be done. Replacing the Fleetguard fuel filter
The fuel starts pumping through the system, including the fuel filter, from the moment the engine is started. In the filter there is a purposely designed technique that separates the water and particles from the fuel and catches it in the filter. When the machine is used for a long time, the filter will slowly start to fill up with the impurities. It is then time to replace the fuel filter for a new Fleetguard filter. Check the parts manual for the place of the fuel filter on the machine. This will be somewhere between the fuel tank and the engine. The fuel enters the fuel filter through a specific inlet and the filtered fuel will exit through an outlet. Check the connection when replacing the fuel filter.
