Fleetguard fuel filter FS1013
Particles that should not be in the fuel are filtered out of the solution with a fuel filter. These impurities are for example small particles that do not belong in the fuel and water. If the fuel filter does not catch these particles, the engine would be full of these potentially damaging pieces. Replace the fuel filter when the guidelines for the fuel filter FS1013of Fleetguard prescribe a replacement should be done. Replacing the Fleetguard fuel filter
The fuel starts pumping through the system, including the fuel filter, from the moment the engine is started. The Fleetguard fuel filter is developed to catch water and particles within its casing with special filtering techniques. These water and pieces will slowly clog the filter. It is then time to replace the fuel filter for a new Fleetguard filter. The parts manual describes the position of the fuel filter on the machine. Normally this will be mounted on a convenient place between the engine and the fuel tank. The fuel filter has an inlet for the fuel and an outlet for the cleaned fuel. Make sure you connect the fuel filter in the right way.
