Fleetguard fuel filter FS1006 FS1006
Particles that should not be in the fuel are filtered out of the solution with a fuel filter. These impurities are for example small particles that do not belong in the fuel and water. If the fuel filter does not catch these particles, the engine would be full of these potentially damaging pieces. Replacing the Fleetguard fuel filter
From the moment the engine is started, the fuel runs through the hoses and the fuel filter to the engine. In the filter there is a purposely designed technique that separates the water and particles from the fuel and catches it in the filter. When the machine is used for a long time, the filter will slowly start to fill up with the impurities. Before the filter is fully clogged it is important to replace it for a new one. Check the parts manual for the place of the fuel filter on the machine. Normally this will be mounted on a convenient place between the engine and the fuel tank. The fuel enters the fuel filter through a specific inlet and the filtered fuel will exit through an outlet. Make sure you connect the fuel filter in the right way.
