Fleetguard fuel filter FF5785
Impurities that are in the fuel are filtered out with a fuel filter. These impurities are for example small particles that do not belong in the fuel and water. Replacing the Fleetguard fuel filter
The fuel runs through the fuel hose to the combustion chamber of the engine. In the filter there is a purposely designed technique that separates the water and particles from the fuel and catches it in the filter. These water and pieces will slowly clog the filter. Before the filter is fully clogged it is important to replace it for a new one. The parts manual describes the position of the fuel filter on the machine. This will be somewhere between the fuel tank and the engine. The fuel filter has an inlet for the fuel and an outlet for the cleaned fuel. When mounting the part, check if the fuel filter is properly connected to the system.
