Replacing the Fleetguard fuel filter
From the moment the engine is started, the fuel runs through the hoses and the fuel filter to the engine. The fuel filter is specifically designed by Fleetguard to filter out the water and particles from the fuel. When the machine is used for a long time, the filter will slowly start to fill up with the impurities. When the filter is used for a longer time it is a good measure to replace it for a brand new Fleetguard Filter. The parts manual prescribes where the fuel filter is mounted on the machine. Normally this will be mounted on a convenient place between the engine and the fuel tank. The fuel enters the fuel filter through a specific inlet and the filtered fuel will exit through an outlet.
