The fuel filter of Fleetguard cleanses the impurities from the fuel before it enters the combustion engine. This dirt could be water, sand or dust that possibly entered the fuel during a fill up. Replacing the Fleetguard fuel filter

The fuel starts pumping through the system, including the fuel filter, from the moment the engine is started. The Fleetguard fuel filter is developed to catch water and particles within its casing with special filtering techniques. After a while, the filter will be full of water and particles and this can impact the performance of the engine because the fuel cannot pass through the filter properly. It is then time to replace the fuel filter for a new Fleetguard filter. The parts manual describes the position of the fuel filter on the machine. This is usually on a practical place between the fuel tank and the engine. The fuel enters the fuel filter through a specific inlet and the filtered fuel will exit through an outlet. Make sure you connect the fuel filter in the right way.
