Replacing the Fleetguard fuel filter
From the moment the engine is started, the fuel runs through the hoses and the fuel filter to the engine. The Fleetguard fuel filter is developed to catch water and particles within its casing with special filtering techniques. When the machine is used for a long time, the filter will slowly start to fill up with the impurities. It is then time to replace the fuel filter for a new Fleetguard filter. The parts manual describes the position of the fuel filter on the machine. Normally this will be mounted on a convenient place between the engine and the fuel tank. The fuel filter has an inlet for the fuel and an outlet for the cleaned fuel. Check the connection when replacing the fuel filter.
