Fleetguard fuel filter FF5354
Particles that should not be in the fuel are filtered out of the solution with a fuel filter. This dirt could be water, sand or dust that possibly entered the fuel during a fill up. Replacing the Fleetguard fuel filter
From the moment the engine is started, the fuel runs through the hoses and the fuel filter to the engine. The Fleetguard fuel filter is developed to catch water and particles within its casing with special filtering techniques. After a while, the filter will be full of water and particles and this can impact the performance of the engine because the fuel cannot pass through the filter properly. It is then time to replace the fuel filter for a new Fleetguard filter. Check the parts manual for the place of the fuel filter on the machine. This will be somewhere between the fuel tank and the engine. The fuel filter has an inlet for the fuel and an outlet for the cleaned fuel. When mounting the part, check if the fuel filter is properly connected to the system.
