Fleetguard fuel filter FF5114
The fuel filter of Fleetguard cleanses the impurities from the fuel before it enters the combustion engine. This dirt could be water, sand or dust that possibly entered the fuel during a fill up. Without the filter these contaminants can reach the engine unopposed. Replace the fuel filter regularly with the fuel filter FF5114 of Fleetguard. Before replacement, check the parts manual to make sure the FF5114 part fits for your machine.
Replacing the Fleetguard fuel filter
The fuel runs through the fuel hose to the combustion chamber of the engine. The fuel filter is specifically designed by Fleetguard to filter out the water and particles from the fuel. When the machine is used for a long time, the filter will slowly start to fill up with the impurities. It is then time to replace the fuel filter for a new Fleetguard filter. The parts manual describes the position of the fuel filter on the machine. Normally this will be mounted on a convenient place between the engine and the fuel tank.
