Fleetguard fuel filter FF253 FF253
Impurities that are in the fuel are filtered out with a fuel filter. These are particles that should not be in the fuel, like water and dirt. Replacing the Fleetguard fuel filter
The fuel runs through the fuel hose to the combustion chamber of the engine. The Fleetguard fuel filter is developed to catch water and particles within its casing with special filtering techniques. After a while, the filter will be full of water and particles and this can impact the performance of the engine because the fuel cannot pass through the filter properly. When the filter is used for a longer time it is a good measure to replace it for a brand new Fleetguard Filter. Check the parts manual for the place of the fuel filter on the machine. Normally this will be mounted on a convenient place between the engine and the fuel tank. The fuel filter is recognized by its inlet for the fuel hose and the outlet where the filtered fuel runs through. Make sure you connect the fuel filter in the right way.
