Fleetguard fuel filter FF5077

The fuel filter of Fleetguard cleanses the impurities from the fuel before it enters the combustion engine. These impurities are for example small particles that do not belong in the fuel and water. Without the fuel filter these particles could cause damage and irregularities in the engine to the point where the engine malfunctions. Replacing the Fleetguard fuel filter

From the moment the engine is started, the fuel runs through the hoses and the fuel filter to the engine. In the filter there is a purposely designed technique that separates the water and particles from the fuel and catches it in the filter. After a while, the filter will be full of water and particles and this can impact the performance of the engine because the fuel cannot pass through the filter properly. It is then time to replace the fuel filter for a new Fleetguard filter. The parts manual prescribes where the fuel filter is mounted on the machine. This is usually on a practical place between the fuel tank and the engine. The fuel filter is recognized by its inlet for the fuel hose and the outlet where the filtered fuel runs through. When mounting the part, check if the fuel filter is properly connected to the system.
