About the Ransomes HR 6010

With a 60 hp turbodiesel engine, this mower from Jacobsen / Ransomes is among the powerhouses of the mower fleet. The engine provides the power that the hydraulic motors need to drive the machine. Because each wheel has its own hydraulic motor, a 4-wheel drive is created that provides plenty of traction in challenging conditions. This 4-wheel drive system works through a servo motor. By giving servos to the hydraulic motors, each motor receives the power it needs at the right time to function optimally.

The HR 6010 comes with one front mowing deck and two wing decks. These wing decks can be folded to the width of the machine during transport, resulting in a very compact (1.7m) machine. The front deck of the machine is completely independent and can move with the contours of the field to be mowed. The front deck has a width of 1.53m. 3 mower blades do the mowing work in this mowing deck. The machine has the option for two different types of wing decks. Both variants of the side decks are completely independent, so these also follow the contours optimally. Before you order parts or wear parts for your wing decks, it is important to look at which type you exactly have. Different blades and V-belts go into the mowing deck. The wide variant houses the same mower blades as the front deck, of approximately 530mm, and requires a V-belt of 1720mm. The narrow variant has mower blades of 457mm. These blades are driven by the belt of 1640mm. For both mowing decks, two blades fit per wing deck. As an alternative to regular mower blades, mulch blades are also available.

The transport speed of the HR 6010 is approximately 22 kilometers per hour when the machine runs on two-wheel drive. At the moment when the mowing decks and the four-wheel drive are activated, the machine has a top speed of 11 kilometers per hour. This provides an optimal mowing result. At this speed, the machine has a mowing capacity of approximately 3.6 hectares per hour.
