Reel - 11 blade

This RAMT2866 reel fits on the reelmowers from John Deere and replaces the original with number AMT2279. The kind of mower is mainly used for very precise cutting on the sports or golfcourse and in public green spaces. The mowing result is very good because the mowers can mow precisely down to the millimetre.

A series of sharp blades are put on a cylinder and come into contact with the bedknife. These cylinder has 11 blades. The rotating movement catches the grass between the reel and the bedknife. A sharp knife ensures the grass is neatly cut. A dull blade tears the grass, damaging it in the process.
