The R13-8219 reels fits for your Toro reelmower and replaces the original with nummer 12-4469. This types of mowers are used for the most precise mowing jobs on the golfcourse, public green spaces or on sports tracks. The mowing result is very good because the mowers can mow precisely down to the millimetre.
A series of sharp blades are put on a cylinder and come into contact with the bedknife. On the R13-8219 there are 7 knives mounted. The reel and bedknife are placed opposing each other so the grass cut between the reel and the bedknife. A requirement for this is that the knife edges on either side are very sharp. A dull blade tears the grass and damages it on top of that it makes the grass look unevenly cut.
