Tyres and rims for the Ransomes MP655 reel mower

The basis machine of the Ransomes MP655 has four tyres to support the weight of the machine and move it forward. This happens the same with every MP series machine with a hydraulic driveline and a hydraulic motor at the front wheels. The tyres and rims are interchangeable between machines because of this standard. There are two sizes of tyres that fit on the Ransomes MP655. The front tyres of the reel mower are 26 x 12 inch and the rear tyres are 20 x 10 inch.

MP655 tubeless tyres.

A separate inner tube is not ideal for profession applications because durability, reliability and safety should be on top of the list with these machines. A separate inner tube can suddenly burst by sharp products or everyday wear and tear. An airtight seal between the tyre and the rim of the Ransomes MP655 reel mower make the inner tube obsolete. If the tyre has a leak this will slowly deflate, the driver keeps full control over the machine. An air valve in the rim can inflate or deflate the tyre.
