Reel - 8 blade

The RT-38-8 reels fits for your reelmower and replaces the original with nummer RTCA19348. This types of mowers are used for the most precise mowing jobs on the golfcourse, public green spaces or on sports tracks. They are really popular due to the reels that can cut precise to the millimetre.

A series of sharp blades are put on a cylinder and come into contact with the bedknife. These cylinder has 8 blades. The grass is caught between the blades on the cillinder and the sweeping motion cuts the grass on the bedknife. To get a nice looking pitch, the blade has to be sharp. If this is not the case, the grass damages because it is torn instead of cut.
