the original reels of your Roseman reelmower with number AR-115 can be replaced with fitting RDM Parts with number RAR126. The reelmowers is very precise in its mowing on the golf course and sport field. This is due to the even mowing result of the reel and the ability to cut the grass exactly down to the millimetre.

A series of knives that go round a cylinder, that’s the most basic explanation one can give about a mowing reel. These cylinder has 6 blades. The reel and bedknife are placed opposing each other so the grass cut between the reel and the bedknife. This happens best when the blades is sharpened on the cylinder and the bedknife. If this is not the case, the grass damages because it is torn instead of cut.

A worn down reel? Luckily, in most cases your reel is just dull. These can be sharpened in a simple manner. When the diameter of the reel is to small or the cutting result is not nice or the reel and bedknife can ‘t be setup correctly anymore, it is time to get a new one.
