Reel - 7 blade fitting for Toro 26-2700

This R26-2700 reel fits on the reelmowers from Toro and replaces the original with number 26-2700. The kind of mower is mainly used for very precise cutting on the sports or golfcourse and in public green spaces. This is due to the even mowing result of the reel and the ability to cut the grass exactly down to the millimetre.

A series of sharp blades are put on a cylinder and come into contact with the bedknife. In the case of the R26-2700 the reel has 7 blades on the cylinder. The reel and bedknife are placed opposing each other so the grass cut between the reel and the bedknife. To get a nice looking pitch, the blade has to be sharp. A dull blade tears the grass and damages it on top of that it makes the grass look unevenly cut.
