Reels slowly wear down over because of extensive use. This becomes clear when you see a less satisfying mowing result due to dull blades. After they are sharpened multiple times you can replace the reels with R117-0980 reels for example. These parts can be used as a fitting replacement for Toro machines with part number 117-0980.
